Come to class and take out your day’s frustration on the heavy bag. This is a sport-specific equipment-based exercise program. The techniques used during the one-hour classes, using conventional heavy bags and training pads, are based on authentic boxing/kickboxing techniques which provide both resistance training and cardiovascular benefits to its participants. Most classes begin with light stretches and a cardio warm up. Typical routines include a series of repetitive punches, hand strikes, kicks and other self-defense moves. |
This class is focused on a Kettle-bell used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Our one hour class will take you through typical kettle-bell exercises to build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs, and shoulders, and increase grip strength. The basic movements, such as the swing, snatch, and the clean and jerk, engage the entire body at once in a way that mimics real world activities. |
Our hybrid of strength training, endurance and flexibility to push an individual to their peak performance. Our bodies are like machines that always need to be in motion. If we don’t stay active our bodies will stop producing energy. With this style of cross training we put the body in a natural motion with high resistance at a low rest point. NEXT training incorporates interval training of high intensity workouts combined with lower intensity recovery periods. It allows you to maximize your workout by performing exercises that engage several muscle groups at the same time. |
